ARTICHOKES
THEN AND THERE
I spent most of my life, in and around Moncton, NB, Canada. I grew up in the 'Old West End' and spent most of my summers (from the ages of 6 - 13) at my grandparents cottage in Cassie Cape.
I went to Moncton High School and discovered Kafka, John Cage and Turkish Delight. I then spent a year at NSCAD studying graphic design. This led me to spend some years in the printing industry, as a stripper (not that kind, even though the room was dark) and as a pressman. After which I started a picture framing business. I sold that in 1999 and opened an inn-spa-restaurant with my late wife, Judith. After a year and a half drinking lots of good Italian wine and the last 6 months not, I am currently researching artichokes.
HERE AND NOW
Artichokes, eh?
As I sit here in this old oak chair, typing into my computer which is sitting atop this old oak desk in a room with no view, except for the overly huge cedar tree out one window and some trembling aspen's out the other one, I feel the fresh air wafting in through the open screen door. Now where was I? Random, is that you?
I will continue, really ... for sure ... eh?
HERE-ER AND NEARER
Peeling Artichokes.
Still sitting here in this old oak chair, typing at my computer which is resting on top this old oak desk in a room with a view of the peninsula of Halifax. I feel a little fresh air when I go outside each morning & afternoon.
I am continuing, see ... I told you ... more to come ... soon.
